What — Fig. 01

AI licensing leads. The rest of the estate travels with it.

We start with AI seats because that is where the gap between purchased and used is widest. Everything else is managed in the same pool, so an idle seat in one category can offset a requirement in another.

Lead category

AI assistants & copilots

Enterprise AI assistants and productivity copilots. Bought fastest, measured least, and dependent on a qualifying base licence that compounds the cost of every idle seat.

Lead category

AI developer tooling

AI coding assistants and agentic development tools. Seat counts drift hardest here as contractors and project teams rotate through.

The rest of the estate

Cat. 01

Productivity & collaboration

Business email, document suites, meeting and messaging tools. Highest seat counts in most businesses, and where departed staff linger longest.

Cat. 02

Security & endpoint

Endpoint protection, identity and access management, email security. Licensed per user or device, and rarely reconciled against the actual asset register.

Cat. 03

Creative & design

Design, video and publishing suites. Small seat counts at high per-seat cost, which makes even two or three dormant licences worth catching.

Cat. 04

Cloud infrastructure

Compute, storage and platform services. Metered rather than seat-based, so managed on consumption patterns rather than pooled allocation.

Cat. 05

Developer tooling

Code hosting, CI/CD, observability, issue tracking. Seat counts drift as contractors and project teams rotate through.

Cat. 06

Business applications

CRM, ERP modules, HR and finance platforms. Long terms, high switching cost, and the category most worth getting the seat count right on.

Fig. 03 — On vendor names

We name products in conversation, not on a homepage

Distribution agreements govern how and where each publisher's products may be represented, and those terms differ by market. Rather than paper a page with logos, we'll walk you through exactly what we can source for your entity, in your jurisdiction, on the terms that apply to you.

  • Name a product you already run and we'll tell you straight whether we can do better on it
  • Availability and pricing differ between markets — we quote against your actual entity, not a regional average
  • Some AI products are only sold direct by the vendor. Where that is the case we will say so rather than pretend otherwise
